PH247 Named Client Protection Plumbing & Heating Company of the Year 2026

PH247 has been named Client Protection Plumbing & Heating Company of the Year 2026 at the Greater London Enterprise Awards, run by SME News.

The Greater London Enterprise Awards recognise small and medium-sized businesses across the capital. SME News selects the winners through its own research and judging rather than by public vote. This is the second time PH247 has won in the programme, after first being recognised in 2022. Our listing is on the SME News website.

Why this award matters to us

Awards in our trade usually recognise the quality of the work. This one recognises how a company protects the people it works for: their money, their home and their say over what gets done.

That is the reason PH247 exists. When our Co-Founder Louchavan Lemard was ten, a rogue plumber’s work left his family homeless for five years. He co-founded PH247 so that our customers never end up in that position.

How we protect customers

Your money is held safely until the job is done. We built Transpact, an independent escrow service, into our client agreements. Payment sits with Transpact and is released when the agreed work is complete. That keeps every job in line with the Consumer Rights Act and protects both the customer and our engineers.

Registered, qualified engineers do the work. PH247 is Gas Safe registered, a WaterSafe approved contractor and TrustMark registered. Louchavan is an EngTech FCIPHE RP registered professional, sits on the CIPHE Board of Trustees and was named Plumber of the Year 2026 at The Plumber Awards.

Problems get found before they cost you. Our Proactive Maintenance service uses thermal imaging and water testing to pick up leaks, corrosion and heating faults early. You get a written job report and a maintenance schedule for your property.

Prices are published. Our callout fees are on the rates page, so you know the cost before an engineer arrives.

What changes for our customers

Nothing on the day. The same engineers turn up, the price is the price you were quoted, and the work is held to the same standard. What the award adds is an outside view. SME News looked at how we treat customers and decided it was worth recognising.
